There are a shooting range, hiking trails, and the only public hot air balloon launching spot in the state of Michigan. Brighton Recreation Area has nearly 40 miles of nature trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and three separate campgrounds too.When you rent an RV near Haas Lake Park RV Campground, Seven Lakes State Park is one of the nicest spots in the area. Despite its name, there are more than seven lakes in the forested state park that are fantastic places to catch walleye, black crappie, yellow perch, northern pike, and different types of bass if you love fishing. Hunting areas, swimming beaches, mountain biking trails, and peaceful campsites are found around the park’s lakes, making it an all-encompassing recreation destination the whole family can enjoy.

Nearby Pontiac and Ann Arbor are reliable options, and you can also head into Detroit for the day.
