This park is ideal for hiking and biking as it features over 40 miles of multi-use trails, which lead through lush forests and along multiple lakes. The lakes at the state park are ideal for fishing, swimming, and more. This state park is a favorite destination during the winter, as the chain of lakes at the park are perfect for ice fishing, and many of the trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.Alternatively, you may want to visit one of Michigan's historic parks. Meridian-Baseline Historic State Park is known for its historical significance, as it is where the measurements of townships in Michigan began, meaning it was one of the first documented areas in the state. Visitors can explore the park via trails, which feature boardwalks over marshlands in a wooded environment. These trails lead to monuments that detail the significance of the park's history.

Exploring the City

Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
