Jackson is best known for its close proximity to Michigan’s massive Waterloo State Recreation Area. With over 20,000 acres of space and over 40 miles of multi-use trails, this park is the largest park in Michigan’s lower peninsula, and it’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of south central Michigan. Visitors to the park can swim at one of two beaches, rent a rowboat or kayak, fish, hunt in season, and mountain bike down some of the best trails in Michigan. Although there are no RV parks within city limits, you can find plenty of RV campgrounds just outside the city. Hideaway RV Park is just east of the city on I-94, offering full hookups and on-site paddle-boating and fishing in a serene, peaceful environment. The Oaks Campground is a bit farther out of the way, but it has a more resort-like feel with mini-golf, a dog park, and even ice fishing available on site. The Heartland Woods Family Resort is another option, with two pools, wagon rides, and regularly scheduled live entertainment for guests.

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although Jackson is a convenient gateway to the rolling hills and lakes of south-central Michigan, the town itself has plenty to offer visitors. History buffs will revel in Jackson’s plentiful museums, prison history, and status as the birthplace of the Republican Party. Jackson’s museums range from standard historical preservations from the Civil War to niche museums for cars and organs, so everyone in your RV group will find a museum that interests them. Visitors can also head to historic Downtown Jackson to take a walking tour of 1920’s architecture or grab a bite to eat in one of the city’s many restaurants. Since Jackson is relatively small, driving your Jackson rental camper through the city shouldn’t be too difficult, but be mindful of parking in crowded museum lots or in downtown.</span></p>

Honestly 5/5 stars does not give them enough justice! Rodney and Kara made my trip extremely easy, I rented with them so I could work the Nascar event at MIS and they made the drop off so efficient. They truly exceeded every expectations I had, considering this was my first experience using outdoorsy I was a bit concerned on the logistics. My dad also works this event and gets his trailer dropped off as well, but because he comes from out of state he wanted our trailers to be next to one another. Due to me coming off of a third shift the day of I wasn’t sure if I could get there in time off of no sleep Rodney was willingly to coordinate with my dad’s trailer guy to park next to him, which was honestly so helpful and eased a lot of my anxiety for ensuring I got a spot (it was first come first serve) I cannot thank the both of them enough for going above and beyond to make my trip amazing- one of my favorite parts was their binder, they have everything you could ever need laid out, simplicity at its finest! This trailer included everything you could ever think of which was a nice addition and very reassuring.
If you are looking for a cute yet updated trailer with a hint of modernity as an overly welcoming place to stay, this is it!

Daniel was a phenomenal host! He showed my girlfriend and I how to fully set up and take down the pop up camper and gave us a step-by-step check list which was SUPER helpful. The camper it's self is amazing, so spacious and homey. We even were able to play music over the Bluetooth sound system while we winded down for the evening. Every part of our experience with this Pop up was amazing! Thank you so much Daniel!
