Provides informative, accommodating support
Kristin is praised for her quick communication, kindness, and thorough instructions, including videos and guidebooks. She is also accommodating, as seen with flexible pick-up times.
Easy to drive, feels top heavy
Darla is generally easy to drive and operate, being smaller than typical RVs, though some note it feels a bit top heavy. The van is well-equipped with a robust solar system, effective AC, kitchen supplies, and comfortable amenities, but accessing the pop-top bed can be difficult due to TV obstruction and lack of a step.

5.0Darla (the van) was a breeze to operate and provided a great experience traveling to The Caverns and camping overnight. She’s easy to drive (a bit top heavy), the kitchen area made food prep easy, and a spacious fridge allowed for plenty of storage. The pop top was easy to raise and lower and there was more than enough space for 2 adults up there. Climbing up into the pop top does require a few large step ups to get into and down from and should be noted. Overall a great experience and would recommend

3.0The van was lovely and well equipped for a trip. The biggest issue was that there wasn’t an easy way to access the upstairs, main, bed. (the TV blocked the opening and there was no ladder or step to get up). I ended up having to sleep in the downstairs “bed” with my daughter on uncomfortable pillows that spread apart while I tried to sleep. We also didn’t find the bathroom particularly useful other than storage, and I wouldn’t have used the toilet at all if we were off grid.

5.0Darla was an amazing camper van. Very up to date with a lot of great pluses. We camped over 8 days during an extreme heat warning and she ran and cooled and ran and cooled. Solar option was great too! Bed was comfortable. Van was clean. Pots pans towels dishes cups a plus. Sheets, pillow and cozy blankets nice touch. Bathroom handy! Lots of storage. Lots of cooking options in the van! Lots of charging USB plugs. Host Kristin was easy to work with and very quick to help answer a few question after we left as well as before. Quick response and very kind! We will rent again!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can usually be pretty flexible with the time of pick-up & drop-off if we have some advanced notice, especially if you pick the van up at our house! We always try to work around your trip!
Q.
How do I work the electric and pop top bed?
A.
We will send you short, but detailed videos of both these systems so you can use them in real time when you're traveling! They are located inside our custom made Canva welcome book.
Q.
Do I have to empty the toilet before drop-off?
A.
Yes!!! That's just common courtesy! You don't have to thoroughly clean the entire toilet, but if you go to the restroom in it, PLEASE empty the black urine container, and if you can't hold it and go #2, please empty ALL the material in the back compartment into a trash bag and dispose at your convenience before return time!
Q.
Are ALL music Festivals a no-go?
A.
No! Not all of them, just the one's that our insurance says "I won't cover claims from here". Particularly Burning Man, Lollapalooza, Coachella and others on the West Coast.
