RV Parks to Visit

What Otto lacks in city attractions, it surely makes up for in ease of access to the great outdoors, as well as an abundance of campgrounds to choose from. When you pick up your Otto camper rental, you can head off to Cullasaja River RV Park, located on the banks of the Cullasaja River. The campground is fully equipped with showers, laundry facilities, a river where visitors can tube and swim, and lots of potluck dinners and other scheduled events.

City Sightseeing

Otto might not have a whole lot going on in the actual town itself, but when you rent an RV, you have the freedom to go where you please. Most of the interesting attractions can be found in the nearby town of Franklin, which serves as a sort of regional hub. Macon County Historical Museum is an old dry goods store that has been transformed into a headquarters for Macon County historical studies. You can learn all about the formation of the county, the native peoples that once called the area home, and take a step back in time viewing amazing artifacts and antiques. Foxfire Museum is another institution dedicated to preserving history. There are old log cabins full of memorabilia and antiquated items on display, helping to paint an eerily accurate portrait of the Appalachian culture.

Absolutely fantastic! Our motor home broke down on the way to Tryon and could not be fixed in time to get to event. The had camper set up and waiting us when we arrived!! Great communication. Spotless and had everything we needed! Thank you! 😊

This was our first time ever renting an RV and Mike was the best! We packed everything needed for a camping trip but really didn’t need any of it. The trailer is fully provisioned plus some. Our site had no hookups. The solar powered the equipment during the day but the juice was gone come night. This is not a negative but you might consider a generator if you are boondocking and expect all equipment to work 24/7. We will rent from Mike again next year for our annual event!
