2011 Winnebago View

Class COcala, FL
Sleeps 4
24 ft. long
Offers delivery

Driving our View is a pleasant experience. On a Mercedes Diesel Sprinter chassis and at 24’ long, she maneuvers parking lots, campgrounds and neighborhoods quite easily. Driving is a dream, especially with the new and improved springs and sway bar. If you can handle a large SUV, you can handle the View. With a diesel engine, you get power along with incredible fuel economy of about 15 mpg. A concise owner’s manual stays in the unit and provides useful information if you have questions about how something works. Of course, I am available via phone, text or email to assist however you need.Bedroom:
Queen size bed with mounted tv and overhead storage. A curtain can be hung to provide privacy. Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels are provided. If you have guests using the convertible sofa, please let me know and I will include bedding and towels for them.
Bathroom:
Small but mighty! Stand up shower with curtain, sink and some storage is what you will find. A large mirror is mounted on the wall. Just outside the bathroom is a closet and a drawer for your personal items.
Kitchen/Living:
The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection microwave, 3 burner cooktop stove, coffee maker and refrigerator. Table setting for 4, pots/pans, utensils are all included so you can make meals in the coach if you wish.
In the slide out is a couch which converts into a full-size bed with inflatable mattress. Two mounts for the table and swivel captain chairs. The TV is visible from all seats. Ample overhead storage.Interior:
Brand new flooring throughout. A large moveable footstool with storage sits in front of the couch. Other small items included are an umbrella and small soft-sided insulated lunch/picnic box. A small indoor/outdoor bluetooth speaker is provided.
Front seats/Driving:
Two Captain’s chairs provide great comfort for your drive and swivel around for additional seating in the living area. A rear view camera, Sirius XM radio and bluetooth connectivity rounds out the front end.
All windows have see-through shades and pulldown roller shades. All windows (except for far back window) open and have screens. Ceiling vents are in the kitchen and bathroom. For privacy, the windshield and front windows have blinds. An onboard diesel generator provides power if you are off the power grid; the unit has new batteries in both the coach and chassis. All light bulbs have been replaced with LED bulbs which help conserve energy and do not produce heat.Exterior:An electric awning creates additional, comfortable leisure space outdoors. Please note, the awning is brand new…..and using it is a risk that must be assumed by the renter. Based on my very personal (and expensive!) experience, I recommend that the awning is retracted during windy conditions, when you are away from the RV or bad weather is expected. Cost to replace is approximately $3000. Ouch! But using it cautiously sure makes for a lovely experience. There is a large outdoor rug, two chairs and other amenities. If you have special requests for particular items, just ask and I will provide them if possible. This unit sports an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after some beach time. The 30-amp electric hook up has adaptors so you can plug into a 50-amp location or into 120-volt.Leveling blocks are located in the rear storage along with chairs, rug, water hose, additional non-water hose,A cargo rack carrier is attached and provides a spot for the bulky extras or things you just don’t want to put indoors. If you prefer not to have the rack mounted, it can be removed.Things to consider…..if you need items specific to your type of travel/trip, let me know. If I can, I will provide what you need. For example, if you’re headed to the beach, I have the chairs, towels, cabana, etc. Tailgating may require additional cooking things like crockpots and grills and tables. A fire pit is also available.
A service I am happy to provide is that of stocking food and drink in the unit so you can simply pick her up and go! Provide me with a specific list of things you want and for a small service fee, I will make sure you don’t waste anytime in a grocery store.

Meet your host, Barb

Member since 2018

We are Hayden and Barb. We moved to Ocala, Florida from Anchorage, Alaska in 2011. Sure is nice to stay warm and toasty! We enjoy using our RV, but are willing to share it with others. We like to get away, sometimes with our two Black & Tan Jack Russell Terriers. They think being in the RV is a real treat.
