Youngstown is just half an hour's drive away, Cleveland is one hour away, and Pittsburgh is 90 minutes away.Campsites at Ridge Ranch Family Campground come with 30/50 amp electric connectivity as well as water and sewer hookups. Pull-through and back-in sites are both available. The campground has a store with basic food items as well as toiletries and other camping necessities. One of the most appealing features of this campground is the 16-acre lake, which offers paddleboat and canoe rentals and has a beach for swimming. You can also go fishing in the lake. Other amenities include playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, mini-golf, and horseshoes. There is a pavilion available for group gatherings, and the campground itself hosts a number of scheduled activities, including hayrides, karaoke, crafts, and more. The campground is pet-friendly, but they must be leashed.

There are lots of fun outdoor activities to enjoy while camping in an RV at Ridge Ranch Family Campground. Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park is located a short drive north of the campground and is a very popular destination for hiking. There are four hiking trails of varying difficulty levels in the park. This park is known for its beautifully scenic rock formations and is a popular destination for picnicking.West Branch State Park is another outdoor attraction worth visiting when you book an RV rental in Trumbull County. The Michael J Kirwan Reservoir is in the park and provides excellent opportunities for boating. Boats of all speeds are allowed in the reservoir, and there is a marina within the park where you can rent a boat. There are five launch ramps at various points around the lake. There is also a sand beach with a swimming area. Fishing is available year-round, and you'll find many different species of fish, including large and smallmouth bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, and bluegill.There are lots of other fun outdoor activities to enjoy within West Branch State Park. There are more than 14 miles of hiking trails, as well as 20 miles of trails for horseback riding. There are trails for snowmobiling in the winter that double as mountain biking trails in the summer. There is also a dog park for those visiting with furry friends, and an 18-hole disc golf course. Hunting is available in certain sections of the park with an Ohio hunting license. You'll find deer as well as waterfowl and some small game animals.

Cleveland is a popular destination for music lovers, as it is home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Music fans will also want to catch a show at Playhouse Square, which is the largest theater district in the United States outside of New York City. Cleveland is also home to many notable museums, including the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Great Lakes Science Center, and the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art. The Cleveland Botanical Garden and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo are both very popular destinations as well. Foodies will want to check out the West Side Market, where you can pick up fresh produce and enjoy great food from local vendors.
What type of RV should I choose?
Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?
Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.
How does check-in work?
Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
