Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground is in eastern Pennsylvania, in the city of Blakeslee, which is approximately two hours' drive from Philadelphia and New York. Between state parks and game lands, this RV campground offers some of the best recreational opportunities in this part of the state. You can enjoy fishing on Long Pond or Mud Pond Run, or hike on one of many trails close to the park, where you can also go bicycling, running, ATV riding, or bird watching.The campsites at Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground are available with water and electric hookups or full hookups, and the campground has restrooms with showers, a camp store, and so much more. Every campsite has a fire ring and a picnic table, and WiFi is offered too. At this family-friendly campground, guests will have access to two playgrounds, a game room, a recreation hall where you can join planned activities, and so much more. There is a swimming pool and a mini-golf course too. The Great Outdoors

Big Pocono State Park is about half an hour's drive east of your campsite at Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground. The park covers over 1,600 acres of mixed terrain with great scenic views. Here you can go picnicking, hiking and wildlife watching. There are over eight miles of hiking and biking trails in the park, where you can also enjoy horseback riding. In the wintertime, this is one of the most popular areas for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. There are 33 skiing trails, 13 lifts, and even night skiing is possible here. If you like hunting, you can find bears, cottontail rabbits, foxes, deer, raccoons, and many more.Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is about half an hour's drive east of the RV campground, located on the shores of the Delaware River, which separates Pennsylvania from New Jersey. This fantastic natural area offers some of the most scenic views in the area. Here you can see wonderful waterfalls, hike the Appalachian Trail, or enjoy canoeing and kayaking on the river. Trout fishing is another popular activity, as well as picnicking and swimming. Hunters can find bears, deer, and pheasants, among the other animals here. Other popular recreational activities here include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, rock climbing, and ice climbing.Hickory Run State Park is just about 15 minutes' drive west of Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground. This beautiful park has a variety of activities available year-round. There are 44 miles of trails in the park, including Beach Trail, Bear Trail, Deer Trail, and others. Biking is prohibited, but you can enjoy cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on some of the trails. There is a swimming beach on Sand Spring Lake. Here you can go swimming, fishing, and boating. In the wintertime, try ice skating at the lake. Other popular pastimes in the park include orienting, picnicking, hunting, wildlife watching, and disc golfing.

Exploring the City

With a travel trailer rental in Monroe County, you can visit many interesting attractions nearby. Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary houses live butterflies and exotic frogs. Here you can learn all about butterflies, watch a documentary, and feed butterflies from your hand.Right next to the campground, you can visit the Stock Car Racing Experience. This is a perfect place for adrenaline junkies, though experiences are safe, and kids as young as 14 years old can participate. While you're here, you can drive your dream car, or ride along with a professional driver to feel the thrill of stock car racing. Some of the experiences offered here include the Stock Car Drive Experience, the Exotic Drive Experience, and the ProKart Racing Experience. If your dream is to drive a NASCAR-style stock car, this is the place for you.Lehigh Tannery Historic Site is approximately 20 minutes' drive west of the RV campground, near White Haven. Here you can see the remains of a large building that was used as a tannery. It was one of the biggest tanneries in Pennsylvania during the 19th century. In addition to the tannery, the site was also home to a school, a post office, a cotton mill, and more.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? How does check-in work?

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
