This is our 2019 Ram Promaster 1500 136" WB that I built for outdoor trips. This is perfect for hiking, cycling, climbing our lake adventures.It is based in Springfield, Missouri. We are close to Table Rock Lake and a few hours from beautiful Northern Arkansas.The van carries and sleeps two passengers so it is a wonderful way for a solo traveler or a couple looking to get away.- Passenger seat swivels 360°
- The van is powered by a Goal Zero Yeti 3000X. This has 3032 Wh (280 Ah) of power, a 2000W AC inverter, a charge controller (for the solar) and a monitoring system.
- (2) 100 watt Renogy flexible solar panels
- Everything electrical runs off a fuse box with 12 circuits
- Nova Kool R4500 RV Refrigerator.
- Dometic 976 toilet (this is a portable toilet, not pictured).
- Custom built van covers (see pictures). This have magnets that snap to the metal doors. They insulate and completely black the van out at night.
- Working kitchen with 12 gallons of water pumped to the faucet. There is a 6 gallon gray water tank under the sink. I installed a Shurflo 12-volt water pump and a Shurflo Accumulator to have water on demand
- Maxx Air Ventillation Fan
- Custom foam mattress. It is 70" x 56". I am 6'2" and sleep comfortably with my feet off the end of the mattress. This is an extremely comfortable mattress.
- The van is insulated with Havelock wool - yes, straight from a bunch of sheep. This stuff has been phenomenal in keeping the van warm or cool and it helps eliminate/minimize odors.
- Bench seat has storage underneath.
- The garage space is wide open and fits bikes easily. I used a 2x4 with two Rock Mountain mounts to transport my road and mountain bikes. I built the lofted bed just high enough to fit the bikes. So if you are a cyclist, you will enjoy having your bikes inside - away from the rain and snow!Absolutely NO Smoking Allowed. What's includedPillows, fresh linens, and comforter. What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I can be fairly flexible, will just depend on the specific request. The van stays in an enclosed shop but I will have it pulled out on the drive and the keys and information will be in a lock box on the outside of the shop. I will send you the key code before you arrive. If I am available, I will be there to show you the ropes of the van before you drive off. If I can't be there, I will have detailed instructions on everything you will want to know regarding operating our camper van.
