Just south of the North Carolina-South Carolina border and only about 45 minutes southwest of Charlotte, NC, the town of Clover, SC, is an area that is just waiting to be explored. Officially incorporated in 1887, the little town got its early beginnings as a railroad town as it was the perfect distance between the larger towns of Yorkville and Gastonia, North Carolina. The town grew into an agricultural center, with a focus on cotton farming and processing. Today, adventurers are drawn to the area because Clover is the perfect compromise for those wanting to be near a big city and those wanting to be near to nature.

There are public transit services in some of the more densely populated areas of York County, though those services do not reach Clover itself. Luckily enough, the roads are wide and relatively easy to drive along when you rent an RV in Clover.

After you book an RV in York County, you’ll be able to explore the area’s history, towns, and the surrounding natural escapes and wildlife. As you drive around the Carolinas, you’ll be met with such adventure that you’ll wonder why more people don’t travel to this part of the Southeast more often.

With seemingly countless trails to choose from, you’ll have no shortage of options for day hiking or backpacking through some of the Carolinas’ most beautiful country.
