RecommendationsMy favorite trip that I ever took was to the Four Corners Monument during my tour of Colorado, but I can confidently recommend the entire state. Plenty of Scenic places to stop and take pictures or camp as well as affordable RV parks scattered throughout the state. For people looking to stay local Lake of the Ozarks will always treat you well.Other things to noteBe sure the toilet pedal is pushed all the way up when you are done. I tend to fill the fresh tank about an eighth full when traveling. You have a safety clearance of 12 feet so you will want to be mindful of low hanging bridges. You will also want to remember to pace yourself, remember the 3:3:3 rule. Travel no more than 300 miles a day....arrive to your campsite by 3pm......stay for 3 days before you move on. This is a relaxing pace that should help you enjoy your time making memories.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are flexible with scheduling. If renters could keep themselves to 9am to 7pm that would be great. Be prepared to have orientation picking up and a walk thru when you drop off.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
yes, we have stickers in helpful places to remind you how everything works. we are also available 24/7 for any questions. insurance information is posted if you need it. you will not be alone on the road.
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
We have set up info cards posted on drivers side door for dumping instructions and where to fill fresh water tank. There is a hose for clean water transfer provided. Best way to access dump tanks is to have levelers down and slide in. A surge protector is provided to plug into shore power but otherwise there are 2-12V 320ah batteries to run the cabin. You will be hard pressed to run out of power.....even on cloudy days. Just check levels and don't get below 12.7 before you go to bed.
Q.
Do you have an awning?
A.
Yes we do. Be careful because the door often hits the awning when you open and close. Thankfully the screen door helps with that issue. The spring on the outer door is new and needs to get used a bit more.
