The Great Outdoors

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area is a stunning natural park located between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. This almost 200,000-acre park is habitat to many animal and plant species, including some endangered species, and since 1991, it's been deemed a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Some of the attractions here include an elk and bison prairie, a planetarium and an observatory, an 1850's farm, and a woodland nature station. This park is educational and entertaining at the same time, with so many things to see and do. Enjoy hiking, biking, and water trails or join one of the organized tours of the area to see the most popular locations and scenic views.Natchez Trace State Park is located approximately an hour's drive south when you're motorhome camping at Paris Landing / Kentucky Lake KOA. The natural area covers about 48,000 acres of grassland and forest, making for some amazing scenery. Here you will find several beautiful hiking trails, including a 40-mile overnight trail. The trails are surrounded by forest and fields, alongside the lakes and streams of the park. There is also a museum featuring local and park history, plus picnic facilities, boating, and a restaurant where you can take a break from an active day in nature.About an hour's drive west of the KOA, there is the beautiful Obion River Wildlife Management Area. This is a perfect place for those who enjoy wildlife watching and photography. Some of the animal species you can see here are turkey, white-tailed deer, and indigo bunting. The terrain is mostly bottomland hardwood forest and cropland for waterfowl management. Here you can also hunt and fish, or enjoy a picnic by the river.

Exploring the City

When visiting Paris, you can see a Tennessee version of the Eiffel Tower, a 60-foot steel tower in the town's Eiffel Tower Park. This is a great place to visit if you are traveling with kids, as there are many activities perfect for them, including multiple playgrounds, sports courts, a swimming pool, golf course, and picnic tables.Nashville has a great number of attractions you can visit when renting a motorhome in the area, but one of the most interesting is the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This is the perfect place for music lovers, where you can learn about the history of country music from its beginnings in the 19th century through today. There is a permanent exhibition that tells the story of country music and various temporary exhibitions featuring country music artists.Another great place to see in Nashville is one of the most popular family attractions, Nashville Zoo. In addition to seeing animals, here you can also enjoy the zip line, carousel, or train rides. You can also join different events and activities happening every day in the zoo, including feeding animals, zookeeper talks, and animal shows and encounters. Some of the animals living here include American alligators, Aldabra tortoises, Caribbean flamingos, common barn owls, alpacas, clouded leopards, giraffes, and more.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
