While it’s not quite clear where these two names came from, it’s believed that “Soddy” is a Cherokee word while “Daisy” was used to honor the daughter of a prominent coal miner.

The museum also hosts Pioneer Days throughout the year and a farmers market during the spring and summer.

Book this RV! We had the absolutely best time as a family. The owners had everything we could need + more stocked for us. There was even a kids welcome present in the camper when it was delivered with fun activities for our kids. It was the sweetest added touch. The camper was in great shape, clean, and the owners were so welcoming and responsive. I can’t say enough good things. If we ever rent again, it will be from them!
