Lakeside RV Campground

You won’t struggle to find some excellent nature spots or recreation areas while traveling through Utah, especially by the shores of Utah Lake. The massive body of water is teeming with premium spots to enjoy sunsets and sunrises, like Utah Lake State Park, which is adjacent to the RV campground. The park is found on the largest body of freshwater in the state, with boat ramps, beaches, swimming areas, and fishing spots. Deer Creek State Park is north of Orem and Provo, and Wasatch Mountain State Park in the Wasatch Mountains both prove to be fantastic options for those exploring the area. Deer Creek State Park has the Deer Creek Reservoir, which accounts for most of the recreation options like fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, and windsurfing. The park has its own restaurant, gas station, and campground facilities, so everything you need is easy to find. Wasatch Mountain State Park is one of the most heavily visited in Utah, thanks to its fantastic views of the Wasatch Mountains. This high elevation park has historic structures, old apple orchards, farmhouses, and hiking trails. Many of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics facilities are located at Wasatch Mountain State Park, with tubing, Nordic skiing, and biathlon courses still in use. If you have the time, a visit to one of the state’s legendary national parks is certainly worth considering. Zion National Park, Arches National Park, and Canyonlands National Park are all viable options, but Capitol Reef National Park is the closest to Provo. The park takes its name from the white sandstone dome features which resemble capitol buildings. When you hike through or stay at this amazing park with your Provo RV rental, you can see epic monoliths, natural landmarks, and ancient petroglyphs inscribed into the rock formations of the park.
