Unlike many other parts of the country, RV parks and campsites along Colorado’s Front Range tend toward the rustic. Most have limited amenities and are focused on providing a nature experience free of distractions. Peak to Peak RV Park in Nederville is one of the closest parks with full-service campsites for your motorhome rental in Pinecliffe. Site amenities at Peak to Peak include full hookups, a few restaurants close to the park, and easy access to fuel.

Exploring the Town of Pinecliffe

Pinecliffe is an incredibly isolated community; so don’t expect many trendy restaurants or tourist shops to be nearby. The closest services are located in the town of Nederville and they have a handful of restaurants and stores to peruse. However, while you’re there, you should check out the Nederland Mining Museum, which follows the history of gold, silver, and tungsten mining in the area. It’s home to some excellent artifacts from the mid-19th century including rock crushers and steam shovels. There’s also the Carousel of Happiness, a theme park ride stocked with dozens of historic hand-painted horses for kids to ride on.

Everything! The portable stoves, the gas heater for nights, the exhaust fan, the bike rack, the cozy mattress and sleeping areas, sitting up high driving along and feeling like a road warrior….one thing is for sure, we never want to tent camp again!

Excellent vehicle and well equipped for our family trip to Canyonlands. Dan and Lisa were so helpful in getting us set up for an extremely enjoyable time in the desert.
