Located at Bonnechere, along Highway 58, Ontario, this 1.62 sq. km (0.6 sq. mile) provincial park offers RV camping in three lakeside campgrounds that features nice amenities. The park is a wonderful place to refresh and relax away from home. Amenities and facilities available at the park include boat launch, comfort stations, historic building, laundry facilities, pet areas, playground, roofed accommodation, canoe and kayak rental facilities, toilets and showers, rustic cabins, trailer dump station, Visitor Center, and parking lots.

Driving
Located at Bonnechere, along Highway 58, Ontario, Bonnechere Provincial Park is a simple drive-in park that is easy to locate and access via RVs, trailers, and other motorized vehicles. Within the park, there are local paved roads that make navigation by vehicles to the different parts of the park easy. There are no driving restrictions within Bonnechere Provincial Park.
Parking
Various parking options are available for RV campers at Bonnechere Provincial Park because the park features seven parking lots distributed across the campgrounds and the park entrance. Three parking areas are located at Tall Pines Campground, while two parking areas are available at River Loop Campground. Sandy Flats Campground has one parking area. RV campers can also park their rigs at their designated campsites in the park. Moreover, overnight parking is available.

Tall Pines Campground
Tall Pines Campground in Bonnechere Provincial Park features 58 pet-friendly campsites available for RVs and tents. 40 campsites in the campground are equipped with electric hookups for RVs. The campsites sit among spectacular White Pine trees that have survived the logging days.

Off-Season
Natural Heritage Education
Interactive educational programs are available at Bonnechere Provincial Park. RV campers can enjoy these fun programs anchored by park staff and park naturalists that take campers on interactive trails, through slideshows and entertaining presentations about the natural heritage of the park.
Swimming
Bonnechere Provincial Park features a beautiful sandy beach that is open to RV campers for swimming. The beach, located in the day-use area, is marked with buoys. No lifeguards are available at the beach, and safe swimming practice is recommended for all RV campers as the beach has shallow gradual drop-offs.
Birding
About 297 bird species have been sighted at Bonnechere Provincial Park. These birds can be seen at different points at the park, including the trails, lookout point, campgrounds, and various habitats in the park. A checklist of the birds in the park is available for RV campers to pick up upon arrival to aid their bird viewing adventure.
In-Season
Fishing
Good fishing opportunities are available at Bonnechere Provincial Park. Both Bonnechere River and Round Lake have fish species such as largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, rock bass, pumpkinseed, pickerel, pike, and lake trout. These angling adventures make RV campers visit the park with their fishing gear and tackle.
Boating/Canoeing
Boating, canoeing, and kayaking are welcome activities for RV campers at Bonnechere Provincial Park. RV campers are allowed to use power boats on Bonnechere River and Round Lake, as long as they observe no wake speeds due to the sensitive species and habitats in the river. Furthermore, leisurely paddling opportunities are available along the meandering banks of Bonnechere River all the way to Jack’s Chute. Canoe and kayak rentals are available at the park.
Hiking/Biking
The 2 km (1.2 mile) looped McNaugton Trail takes campers on strolls along the meandering Bonnechere River where they can learn about the cultural history and natural features of the park through Foot Prints in Time (FIT), a traditional feature that explains the history of the area. Additionally, 10 local trails, called the Walks of the Little Bonnechere River, with varied lengths and difficulties, offer hikers interesting opportunities to explore the natural and cultural history of the area.
Bikes are allowed on the roads in the park and they provide an excellent way for RV campers to explore the park. No bike trails are available in the park.
