Driving
Castle Rocks State Park is located along S. Elba Almo Road, just north west of Almo, Idaho. The park is easy to access by RVs, trailers and cars. The roads in the park are paved, offering easy access and navigation to the different parts of the park. There are no driving restrictions within Castle Rocks State Park.
Parking
There are four parking spaces for RVs and trailers in Castle Rocks State Park, offering various RV parking options for campers and vacationers at the park. Three of the parking lots are located in Smokey Mountain campground. All boats, trailers, or other motorized vehicles are required to fit entirely within the campsite parking spur(s) provided. Any equipment that does not fit entirely within the sites designated parking area are to be parked outside the campground in designated areas only.

Smokey Mountain Campground
Smokey Mountain Campground in Castle Rocks State Park consists of 37 pet-friendly campsites available for RVs and tents. Some of the campsites in the campground are ADA accessible. These campsites are equipped with electric and water hookups for RVs. RV length limit at the campground is 82 feet. Amenities at the campground include restrooms and showers, Wi-Fi facilities, as well as access to trailheads. The campground is conveniently located less than two miles from the visitor center and services in Almo and the nearby City of Rocks National Reserve. Campfires are allowed in the campground at designated areas only. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Fireworks are prohibited in the campground at all times. Camping in Smokey Mountain Campground is limited to 15 days in a 30-day period.
