Introduction
Sitting on the shores of Wilson Creek, Rosebery Provincial Park features beautifully secluded campsites that make RV campers feel at home while on vacation. Located in the Kootenays region of British Columbia, on Highway 6, 5 km (3 miles) north of New Denver, this small provincial park lies in a forested creek setting that offers amazing RV camping experiences and opportunities for wildlife and flora observation, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, canoeing, pet walking, photography etc.
Rosebery Provincial Park consists of 33 RV campsites that are available on first-come first-served basis and by reservation. Amenities and facilities available in the park include washrooms, drinking water, firewood, garbage disposal stations, and Information Center. A store and pay phone are located in New Denver, 5km south of the park.
RV campers kickstart their exploration to different nearby parks from Rosebery Provincial Park as the park serves as a good staging area for such adventurous exercises. Even more, ghost mining towns in the vicinity can also be explored from the park.
The early inhabitants of the area were the Ktunaxa/Kinbasket, Okanagan, Shuswap, Westbank and Sinixt First Nations.
Rosebery Provincial Park was established in 1959.

Driving
Located in the Kootenays region of British Columbia, on Highway 6, 5 km (3 miles) north of New Denver, Rosebery Provincial Park is a simple drive-in park that is easily accessible by RVs and trailers, as well as other motorized vehicles. The roads within the park are paved and offer easy navigation to the different parts of the park. There are no driving restrictions within Rosebery Provincial Park.
Parking
Parking of RVs, trailers, and cars in Rosebery Provincial Park is restricted to the gravel portion of campsites as there are no designated parking areas in the park. Parking of vehicles and rigs is prohibited on the roads in the park. Overnight parking is available in the park.

Reservations camping
Rosebery Campground
Rosebery Campground in Rosebery Provincial Park features 33 pet-friendly campsites available for RVs and tents. There are no hookup options for RVs in the campground. RV length limit in the campground is 32 ft (10 m), however vacationers with larger rigs can call ahead to find out if there is space available. Amenities in the campground include water taps, pit/vault toilet, garbage station, firewood, picnic tables, and firepits.
24 campsites in the campground are available on first-come first-served basis while the remaining 9 campsites are available by reservation.

Off-Season
Pet Walking
RV campers who visit the park with their pets take their pets on walks along the roads in the park as the park is pet-friendly. Both you and your dog will appreciate the exercise and fresh air of the park. Be sure to keep your dog leashed, though. With the wildlife that's present in the park, it's for everyone's safety.
Boating/Canoeing
RV campers often enjoy boating and canoeing on Slocan Lake, despite the treacherous winds that are common to the lake. Be that as it may, adventurous campers still paddle canoes along the entire length of the lake by staying close to the shores. The greater the risk, the greater the experience.
Fishing
Fishing opportunities are available at Rosebery Provincial Park in Wilson Creek, as rainbow trout and dolly varden are often caught in the creek. Slocan Lake is also popular for fishing in the park as rainbow trout is also available in the creek.
In-Season
Hiking/Cycling
A short trail within the campground allows RV campers take strolls within Rosebery Provincial Park, offering the chance to enjoy scenic views of the wildlife and flora in the park. A longer trail which extends outside the park also begins on the West Wilson Creek Forest Road. Posted signs on the trails provide guidance to RV campers who hike on the trails in the park. RV campers also ride bicycles along the roadways in the park, with their helmets on as per BC law.
Flora Observation
Rosebery Provincial Park features a natural forested area that borders the Wilson Creek. Within the park, the shrubs, flowers and trees that decorate the different areas constitute the natural heritage of Rosebery Provincial Park.
Wildlife Viewing
Rosebery Provincial Park features a forested creek habitat where RV campers see wildlife and mammals. Squirrels, chipmunks, and bears are the most commonly observed wildlife in the park, and all RV campers are advised to only view them from a distance. Approaching the wildlife, particularly the bears, is not recommended.
