Scusset Beach State Reservation Campground

Cape Cod is a world-class vacation area known for its legendary beaches, family-friendly environment, historic lighthouses, and lovely vacation cottages; it’s no wonder this place is a popular RV camping destination. Picking up a campervan rental can be the best way to explore the Cape, affording you the freedom to move about with ease, so you can see every small town on the small peninsula. When you rent an RV near Scusset Beach State Reservation Campground, you’ll have the best of both worlds since the RV park is located halfway between the tip of Cape Cod and the city of Boston. Just outside of Sandwich, the campground is a gateway to the majesty of Cape Cod, nestled along the Cape Cod Bay and the tiny Cape Cod Canal.

If you want to make this delightful nature park your home base, there are various RV campsites and a handful of tent campsites too. Although the campground is open year-round, only self-contained campers can use the space during the winter months when the park’s restrooms, showers, and water hookups are not available.

The strongest appeal of this charming Cape Cod campground is the gorgeous stretch of beach along the bay, where beachcombing, playing in the sand, sun tanning, swimming, surfing, and boating are all possible. There is even a fishing pier jutting out into the sea, giving guests the opportunity to fish. Aside from the bicycle paths and interpretive nature programs offered on-site, you can enjoy incredible views of the ocean from your campsite.
