About Joan Mainwaring

Hello from Bozeman! My husband was born and raised here, and is a proud retired Marine. I am a retired Banker turned Red Cross volunteer. We raised four kids going on trips all over Cali when we were stationed there. We had lots of fun on a budget because we didn’t have to eat out or pay for a hotel! They are now passing down their experiences to our eleven grandchildren! Last year I drove Minnie to the Oregon Coast for a Red Cross deployment to the wildfires for two weeks by myself; she and I did great and worked hard helping over there. Scary to be doing that in the middle of COVID, but much better than taking a plane and a hotel stay! We hope that your family enjoys the journey as much as the destination when you rent her; that’s what it’s all about!
