About Amy Donaldson

I started camping as a kid in my parent's 1966 VW Bus and our favorite place to camp back then was Lassen Volcanic National Park. I still love Lassen and camping but instead of the VW Bus we now camp in our 2019 Mercedes Sprinter Van or our 28 foot Weekend Warrior toy hauler bumper tow. Along with Lassen, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons are now my favorites! I also love camping along the California coast or boondocking in the Utah mountains. My husband and I are empty nesters as our 3 daughters are now grown. When we are home we keep busy taking care of 3 big dogs, 2 cats, 20 chickens, 3 fish and 3 honey bee hives.
