About Melissa Owens

Camper People is a new business venture for me that came about because of Covid stay at home orders. My kids were not able to go back to their schools, which made me choose to stay home to help and guide them through online learning. I wanted to still have something to do besides online school professional, while still making a little money-and Camper People was born! It is so much fun to help families around Albuquerque get out of town and have fun camping. I want everyone to have to opportunity to discover how much fun camping is and take pride in my perfect sized little camper.

This was our first time camping with an RV. I was a little nervous but Melissa was so helpful throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. Our trip turned out amazing! I would definitely book with Melissa again!!!

Melissa is wonderful! She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and patient with us newbie- RVers! The RV is lightweight and was easy to pull and set up. Definitely go with Camper People and enjoy!

Everything Melissa told us was accurate. We felt safe and confident this was going to be a great trip. The trailer was spacious for our family’s needs and overall had a great time. Trailer was easy to use.

Melissa is such a great hostess. She was quick to respond to all my messages, very thorough with the walk through when we picked up, and gracious with us and a little mishap we had with a piece of particle board in the flooring. I highly recommend this rig, it was very easy to set up and break down and was easily towed with our Subaru Ascent (5000 lb tow capacity).
