This is an amazing shelter! Big enough to sleep 8-10…you can’t really appreciate it’s size and roominess until you step inside and walk around. Great for large families, multiple families, or a group of friends. It also makes a incredibly roomy, luxury shelter for 2-4 people with room for a table, totes, coolers, gear and camp chairs inside the tent.This tents features two huge, full height doors with built in screen doors, a stove jack for use with the wood stove (included for an additional fee) and a half double-wall to mitigate humidity inside the tent.With the wood stove it weighs 21lbs and when packed up, it’s about the size of a small microwave.This is a floorless shelter which makes it so unique and enjoyable!Pros:
- Can’t pitch anywhere over any terrain…there is no floor to get damaged by rocks, sticks, uneven terrain, etc.
- No need to take off shoes or wipe feet when entering
- Tables, chairs and cots are welcome inside the shelter because there is no floor to damageWhat’s Different:
- Nature is literally at your feet, including any ground moisture that existed before you pitch the tent and the occasional insect (The only biting insects in Alaska are mosquitos)
