Full hookups are provided here, including 20, 30, 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Facilities include an on-site laundrette, shower block, flushing toilets, and an RV storage unit. There are many pull-thru sites located at Pecan Grove RV Park.
Exploring the Area
Those with an interest in local and national history should visit the ‘Lakeport Plantation,’ which is only a short walk from Lake Chicot. Listed on the national register of historic places, Lakeport Plantation house stands as a record of agricultural life in pre-civil war America. Though part of the country's dark past, the plantation is undeniably a symbol of the south's culture during the early parts of America's history. Visitors can view original and restored buildings, as well as taking a guided tour of the grounds. Tours also include a detailed history of the plantation and the people who worked and lived here.
