Hi! We are the Whites. Retired Air Force, we now find ourselves working civilian jobs averaging 50 to 60 hours per week. Seeking out a form of relaxation we found our “Go To” in taking our RV out every 6 weeks or so on a weekend trip to relax and unwind. It is simply amazing how refreshed you can feel just getting away from the home and all the day to day responsibilities that come with it! We don’t travel far, usually within 2 hours of home. Hondo, Kerrville, Frericksburg, New Braunfels, San Marcos and numerous other small towns have so much to offer. Visiting any location is so much more enjoyable when you leave the day before, Friday afternoon for example, spend the night and then wake up to enjoy a Saturday of shopping and sightseeing. Return to your campsite Saturday evening to rest and relax instead of dreading the long drive home. Finish up by heading back home refreshed Sunday morning. Besides, kicking back under an awning in lounge chairs with an evening breeze beats a confined Hotel Room anytime!
This was our first RV and it has provided us with so much enjoyment! We live just outside San Antonio and love to explore our surrounding communities. If your looking for ideas to do in the San Antonio area or have any questions, just let us know!
Ensures the unit is ready for the next renter.
For multiple days stays at State Parks without Septic Hookups. (One time charge)

About the host
Had a good experience with Robert, very nice guy and easy to talk to. Travel trailer was very clean and easy to set up. I highly recommend. Has all the amenities you would need.
This was our first time using an RV and Robert helped to make our mini-vacation in the Hill Country a great and enjoyable experience.
He was very professional, friendly and thorough - explaining everything to us when we picked the trailer up, and walked us through how the RV worked before we set-off. (He also provided a binder that goes with the RV with written instructions in case you need a guide once you arrive at your campsite)
The RV was clean and comfortable.
It towed well, set up easily and was exactly what we needed for our two night state park adventure
We highly recommend Robert
Robert was fantastic from start to finish. So very patient with us newbies. We arrived later than planned, and he was gracious, and was really helpful and patient ensuring that we had things set up correctly for our vehicle to tow the RV. Robert was almost immediately responsive from pre-book through the drop-off. The RV itself had everything we needed, with nice cool A/C, well-equipped kitchen supplies, and a nice amount of space for our family of four (including two young kids). The whole family really enjoyed the adventure and we're so thankful to Robert and Ellie for their hospitality.
So glad you had a great time and thanks a million for mailing the keys back to us! Was a pleasure to meet y’all.

This was my and my wife's first RV experience so we weren't 100% sure what to expect. Sure, we had watched YouTube videos of RV families and read several "Top 10" type blog posts for beginners, but in terms of actual experience...we had zero. From the first messages back and forth, Robert was thorough, understanding, willing to work through our questions/concerns, and just downright friendly. Honestly, we felt comfortable right away. The booking process was super easy and we were excited for our weekend getaway to the coast. At pickup, Robert was very methodical and walked us through everything we'd need to know. From hitching to my truck, to how to connect the power, water, and septic lines, to the little nuances that only an owner would know about his RV...he explained them all. The camper pulled like a dream. It was the first time my Tacoma had pulled anything over 500 lbs and I think it enjoyed finally doing some real work. Parking, connecting and leveling the camper at the RV park was a piece of cake. We were up and running in a matter of minutes. If there was one thing I'd change about the whole experience, it would be the height of the camper ceiling. I'm 6'2" and couldn't quite stand all the way up inside. That being said, it wasn't the camper's fault. Now I know that I need something a little bigger, that's all. And as luck would have it, Robert did say they had a slightly larger RV that had already been rented for this weekend so...next time! The AC worked great all weekend, thank goodness. It just happened to be the hottest weekend of the year in south Texas. We and our 3 doggos had a blast, relaxed, cooked on the gas stove, watched a movie or two, drank more than our share of adult beverages, enjoyed the beach and met some great people. All that was left was to return to San Antonio, which was another experience that went off without any problems. We had a lot of fun with this little camper. It took good care of us and our pups and allowed us to escape San Antonio for a long weekend. For that, we're very grateful. We would recommend this camper and Robert to anyone looking for their own getaway. 15/10 review from our family!
