Finding a Colorado camper van for that is capable of sleeping a family of four can be tricky. Especially one that sleeps a family of four and still has room for all of your adventure gear. That’s why our family built this van to meet the needs of yours. We built the bed (removable 3 panel aluminum frame) with added flares to accommodate sideways sleeping and make the best use of space. The second row two-seater bench seat is perfect for the kids, and both front seat swivel around for socializing in the van and to accommodate the amazing Cabbunk double bunk kid sleeping system! Please let us know if you want the bunk beds upon booking as we don't throw them in unless requested. The kitchen is incredible, with clever storage and trash drawers and a deep sink. We provide a gas camping stove as we like the flexibility of being able to cook indoors or outside. There is hand-held shower out of the back to spray down bikes, dogs and kids. There is plenty of storage underneath the bed that is accessible from inside the van and an overhead cabinet for each of you, as well as deep drawers on both sides of the galley. Please note - there is no RV toilet in this van. What's includedWe include everything you would need to enjoy your time on the road. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery and cookware. We provide two camp chairs.*We ask that you bring your own bedding*RecommendationsAspen & the Roaring Fork Valley is the perfect jumping off point to see the Western United States. Locally, our valley is home to some of the most gorgeous hiking, biking & fishing adventures around. A short drive over Independence Pass takes you to Twin Lakes & Buena Vista, a rafter's paradise. A little further afield, we are a 3.5 hour drive from Moab & Canyon country, so many of our renters start a southwest trip there. Moab, Bryce & Zion make a good round trip route over 4 - 6 nights.Other things to noteWater is only available for summer rentals.
There is no hot water available.
You may drive the van on graded dirt roads only. You may not go off road as there is not enough clearance.
Pets are welcome, but if we have to spend more than an hour cleaning dog hair off of the bed, we will charge an extra cleaning fee.
No festivals, please.
Definitely no smoking.
We ask you to return the van in the condition you found it. There are cleaning supplies provided. No need to wash the outside.

Review summary

Communicative and very helpful

Guests consistently highlight Kimbo and Jason's excellent and prompt communication, easy pick-up/drop-off process, and helpfulness, including detailed walkthroughs and trip recommendations. One cancellation noted was due to renter not meeting pick-up time rules.

Smooth driving, well-equipped

'Grey Wolf' drives smoothly, performs well, and handles mountain passes easily, though tight right turns require attention. It's clean, comfortable, thoughtfully designed for families (accommodates 4-5 including kids/dog, Cabbunk system), and fully stocked with essentials and storage.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Do I need to let you know if we need the Cabbunks?

A.

Absolutely! They require a bit of training to set up and take up space that you may not want to give up if you're not planning on using them.

Q.

Will you ever waive your 2 night minimum booking?

A.

We cannot accommodate less than 2 night rentals. Please do not ask us to do so.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

If available, we are happy to help try get you on the road earlier in the day, but never earlier than 10 am. We can be flexible with drop off times, depending on availability, but we will never allow a van to be returned after dark. If the van is returned after 6 pm, we will need to assess a late return fee of $100.
