About two hours from California Citrus State Historic Park in Santa Barbara is the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. This 78-acre botanical attraction is home to over 1,000 different types of plants. Restaurants are also abundant, and there is a good selection of cuisines visitors can choose from. For those who would like to try some local culinary specialties, a few to enjoy are avocado toast, garlic ice cream, Cobb salad, and sourdough bread.
