The city of Vista is packed to the brim with places to visit when on your camper rental vacation. Brengle Terrace Park is a must-see, housing both the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens and the Moonlight Outdoor Amphitheater. The Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum might spark some interest in those with an inclination for history and industry. The Farmer’s Market is a fun stop to get a taste of the local produce and maybe stock up the motorhome rental for the next few campfire cookouts.

The art and culture that embodies Vista can be found all around the city. The Broadway Theater and the Moonlight Outdoor Amphitheater both feature Broadway-quality musical productions throughout the year. Various forms of local artists’ masterpieces can be viewed in multiple galleries and some work can be seen displayed at quite a few other sites around the town. If you’re looking to get involved with some microbrew sampling during your RV rental vacation in Vista, you’ve found the right place. With over 15 breweries to choose from, you should expect to leave Vista as an expert in the local brews.

Where to Park It

There are quite a few highly rated private RV parks in the area. Most offer full hookups, swimming pools, free WiFi and are welcoming to dogs. If you’re looking for a more rustic experience, a stay at Del Dios Highlands Preserve may fit the bill. Guajome County Park is also a valid option. The 500-acre park offers campsites and is home to a National Historic Landmark known as the Rancho Guajome Adobe. This historic hacienda was built in the 1850s and is a great representation of Mexican colonial architecture. Of course, there’s always Walmart, too. This one is located on the Southeast end of town, off of Highway 78. And as always, never hesitate to research the ever-evolving free campsite options in the area.
