Meet, The Mystery Machine. This is a Wayfarer Walter Kit in a 2019 Ram 1500 Promaster High Top. Yep, tall people can stand in it and the bed is long enough for tall people too. This complete conversion includes proper flooring, with integrated cargo management tracks, wall and ceiling paneling with 100% natural wool insulation, perimeter shelving, a kitchen galley with 5 gallon fresh and grey water tanks, sink and hand pump, bed platform that measures 54″ wide x 6’1″ long with cushions, boot box and privacy covers for the sliding and rear door window areas.

The van itself is outfitted with dual swivel seats, rear back up camera, tow package, windows in the sliding and rear doors, 12v power point in the front and rear cargo area, touch screen monitor, 220amp alternator, automatic folding mirrors, rear window defrosters, navigation, Sirius XM radio that Bluetooths to your device, all-season all-terrain tires, and cruise control. Need more comforts, the van will be outfitted for your adventure with butane stove, utensils and cooking gear, Iceco app controlled mini fridge, extra bungees, silicon pourer coffee contraption + filters, condiments, table, camp chairs, bedding, pillows, comforters, camp blankets, flannel sheets, shelves, stand for a mountain bike in the garage, plenty of room for gear and storage boxes.

Van is professionally detailed between each rental to ensure it's 100% clean of covid cooties.

Recommendations

Ikon and Epic Pass Holders, this is the way to see the mountains for real! Rent one of my heaters, and let us set you up for the winter adVANture you'll never forget. I love waking up to a homemade cup of coffee looking up at the hill I'm about to shred! G Lot in Winter Park is my fave but there are also spots around Breckenridge, Vail, Copper, Aspen, and Taos.

My rig has gone so many awesome places, and I lived in it for 18 months. So many VANtastic adventures to be had. It's winterized so you can camp in it in colder weather and you can rent a propane heater from me for ski and snowboard season 2022/23. It's not all-wheel drive but it handles well on forest roads and off regular pavement with its 18" shock lift. Also has all weather all terrain super awesome tires for good grippy gripping.

Our first time renting a camper van and we feel so blessed to have run across this camper van and EJ. She answered all our questions and was available during our trip (we had no issues so never needed to reach out). The van was comfortable and we slept so great! We can wait to rent this one again real soon!

Great van, great owner, great times. This was our first experience with van life. We were out for two weeks, and did a clockwise circuit of Colorado. We relied on FreeRoam, HarvestHost, and iOverlander to find spots, and with a little tenacity it worked every time. We didn't plan our route rigidly, but looked at the day and the place and then answered "Where next?" The van is very solid: the high wheelbase and impressive turning circle added confidence, and the equipment was all we needed: bed, sink, Li-Ion battery that took charge from the vehicle or from the portable solar panels, chairs, a table, a small fridge, and all the needed utensils. Plenty of storage space under the bed. We met great people, some of whom we hope to see again. The owner, Elissa, was astonishingly responsive on the Outdoorsy chat, and helpful in every way she could be. Couldn't ask for better.

My First camper van trip was fabulous. EJ is so east to work with. Being a woman of a certain age I needed a lot of help and EJ delivered. My only regret is not having rented the propane heater as nights and mornings were quite cold. Thanks EJ 🙏

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.Can it go offroad?
A.
While I do have all terrain tires, this is not a 4x4. The van does have 18" lifts on the shocks so it has a higher clearance for dirty backwoods roads. Use common sense. I wouldn't drive it down a super muddy road, or an unplowed snowy road without chains and a way out. The van is great on forest roads, and off the beaten path terrain, but it's not an all wheel drive so if you aren't sure, don't take it there. Ask me my towing stories when we meet.

Q.Can you help me with my travel plans?
A.
Absolutely! I lived in this van for 18 months full time and took it to some incredibly amazing places. I am so stoked to help you figure out an itinerary, tips and tricks, and anything else you need to know.
