Review summary

Communicative, helpful, and flexible hosts
Hosts Megan and Kevin consistently provide excellent communication, flexibility with pickup/drop-off, and helpful orientations. They are accommodating and ensure a smooth rental experience, even offering airport delivery.
Excellent drivability and handling
The Sprinter van is lauded for its smooth, easy driving and good gas mileage, even in mountains. Driver-assist features, including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and a rear camera, make it simple to operate and park.

5.0Overall Experience We had a very good experience with Megan's Sprinter van and would definitely consider renting it again. The van was very drivable, with handling similar to small U-Haul vans I've driven in the past. The positive exceptions were the strong driver-assist features. Drivability and Tech The cruise control with the "separation-aware" feature worked well during multi-hour drives. The side mirrors—with blind-spot alarms and convex additions—provided excellent traffic awareness. The rear camera was a great help in parking maneuvers, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto made navigation very simple. Camping Systems The camping heater performed well through 30°F nights, keeping the cabin in the mid-60s°F using perhaps less than a gallon of gas. We didn't use the freezer capability of the DC-powered ice chest, but it kept our food well chilled (36°F) throughout the trip. The solar panels and battery DC power system kept the lights, heater, cooler, and USB accessories working well throughout the trip—we never dropped below 85% capacity. Interior and Supplies The interior was very clean. Despite our dog/cat allergies, we had no hint of a problem. The cooking, eating, and water supplies were plentiful, and we had no issues preparing meals and coffee. Pickup and Drop-off Pickup and drop-off were very easy. As new Outdoorsy users, we missed that photos must be taken through the app—our phone "pickup" pictures couldn't be uploaded. We used the in-app camera for drop-off. Clearer instructions from Outdoorsy would be helpful.

5.0Such a great experience. It was very easy pick up and drop off, the van drove amazingly, and most importantly kept my pup nice and warm while I snowboarded! The insulated magnetized blinds made it very discreet and easy to sleep in. Highly recommend taking this van on your next adventure!
