Myles is our a 24' 3500 Mercedes Sprinter Diesel RV with a Turbo Charged V6 engine

with approx. 26,000 mi. Why do I emphasize that up front?

1. Fuel economy-14MPG compared to gas RVs at 8-9mpg- make a greener choice!

2. Reliability- Diesels will run forever!

Recommendations

Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Lake Michigan Road tour, all those beautiful lakes in Minnesota, the BadLands S. Dakota, Packers game in Green Bay...so many great things within reasonable striking distance of Chicago. Have you seen Door County Wisconsin and eaten the best cherries ever? Washington Island and the Lavender farms? Come see them with us!

Have a wedding coming up? Great item for a Bride or Grooms quarters day of at an outdoor venue.

Long road trip to grandma's and she doesn't have room for everyone..travel in comfort for the kids, keep them entertained...and have your own privacy when you get there.

Taking your kid to college for the first time and you have sooooo much stuff??

My favorite is being parked near a quiet lake front camp site, fire crackling, stars shining...and when the mosquitoes come...escape to my air conditioned sanctuary and view the lake through my windows.

Other things to note

Myles represents a significant investment for us and we certainly want your experience to be excellent and we want to be able to use this RV for other guests in the future. So we have some certain limitations of use and requirements

You MUST purchase the daily insurance through Outdoorsey, otherwise, we cannot rent our motorhome to you. The cost for this type of vehicle is too high for us to risk without that kind of protection-we try and make this up by offering more free daily miles and generator use, along with a reasonable nightly rate. However, the insurance does not cover the automatic canopy, so it will either be tagged out or you can sign a supplemental agreement agreeing to pay for the canopy and use it.

Boondocking (dry-camping, camping with no electric or water hookups) is only allowed with a pre-approved destination & a clear understanding of the functions necessary to operate the rig when off the grid. A higher risk of our need to retain your FULL security deposit exists when using Myles in this manner.

Dogs are welcome on a case by case basis. I'm sorry, we prefer not to host any other friends of the animal kingdom.

Myles must be returned in a reasonable state of cleanliness to avoid excess cleaning fees. This includes:

Dumping of the Black THEN Gray tanks before arrival, if they have been used

Kitchen cleaned, Refridgerator Cleaned, all spills on the floor cleaned; bed linens piled by the table, bathroom reasonably cleaned and wiped down; ALL SAND REMOVED. There is a checklist that will be included in your renters guide we will provide at checkout-but we want you to know to help you make your decision beforehand.

No offroading or roads that are excessively muddy or run the risk of getting stuck, please.

Please, No Smoking in or near the vehicle, any lingering scent tobacco, recreational drugs, or vape will result in us taking the full security deposit-please don't, my wife can sniff out anything...so please don't

Check In/Out- We rent by the day, not the night. What this means is we make the vehicle available in the morning for you to be able to leave, instead of making you pick it up the night before...and me charging you for that extra day you may not get out of it... this IS good for you. It also means you get to drop it off late in the afternoon, so coming back on a Sunday...it can be a leisurely weekend.

Pick up window is between 7-9 AM return is no later than 8 PM. I can at times, be flexible on the pick-up window, at my discretion, we CANNOT be flexible with the return time unless circumstances outside of your control such as OUR rig causing you a documented problem, causes you to be late. We may have someone else booked the next day and we will need time to clean and sanitize for our next guests. A Late charge of 1.5X the nightly rate will be applied for a drop off after 8PM. (Why 1.5 you may ask, a late return runs the risk for me to have to cancel for our next guest, delay them, cause me negative feedback and a host of horrible things...please be on time)

Fine Print: This is not a comprehensive list, the Renter Guide we provide to you at the time of checkout will have a complete list of items that would require forfeiture of your security deposit or additional damages. But these here should help you decide if Fluffly the cat is allowed or if you can park Myles in the great mudflats of Mississippi. And if you want to do either of those....maybe we can't help you out this trip,

Excellent vehicle, very well maintained, and clean. More spacious than I imagined and very easy to maneuver for a novice RV driver. Easily accommodated a family of 4. Shane was excellent to deal with in all regards.

Shane has the vehicle fully stocked with everything you’ll need for your camping trip. Very clean vehicle with great gas ( diesel) mileage. I wish I was notified prior to booking that the awning and tv we’re out of use. Otherwise would definitely book again. Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children.

Thanks for the review Daniel and glad you enjoyed your trip. The TV, thankfully, was working at the time of your booking, unfortunately it was broken by the previous renter a day before your trip and the part needed to fix it wasn't available, we also made sure to compensate you for that lack of functionality. In our rental description it does talk about the high possibility of damage to the awning and that it isn't covered under Outdoorsey insurance-so we only let it be used under specific circumstances. But we do thank you for renting from us on Outdoorsey! We would love to have you back!
