2012 Nissan Xterra with Roof Top Tent (200 miles/day free)

Campervan professionally-built. Clean, adventure ready, and easy to drive!
Kitchenette has a 2-burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and sink. 6-gallon hot water heater with 20-gallon freshwater. Van stocked with quality supplies to cover you for the basics. MaxxAir fan and windows with screens. A/C does require 30 amp electrical "shore power" plug in. Built in heater that puts out great heat to keep you warm and cozy while camping on cool nights, and it’s properly vented so it can be run constantly. Solar panel.
Two front seats are Flex Steel RV seats. We chose these since they are super comfortable; great for siestas on longer trips! The unique thing about this van is it has up to 5 seatbelts. Makes it great for adventurers who are solo, a couple, or even a couple with small kids. Built this way since we didn’t want to slow down when we added to our families. 3 seats in second row are removable (two seats on driver’s side are a 2-seat unit and third seat is a single). Flexible use examples: two adult adventurers could remove all 3 back seats and have more space for gear or a dog. Or a couple with one child might decide to leave in the single and remove the 2-seater to create space for a pack and play. We created this design for flexibility. Some family members could sleep in the van while others camp in a tent outside the van. Bed is an RV-queen.
There’s an outdoor shower with hot/cold sprayer that can also be used to hose off gear. We tend to use showers at the campsites, but this is a nice option, too.
LED lighting, outlets, and USB throughout. Entertainment system to play music from Bluetooth devices. Awesome for fireside hangouts after an outdoor adventure day!
We also have another van that's great for up to 2 passengers and has an amazing electrical and solar setup for longer off-grid trips. Check it out at

Even for those who have lived in campervans for extended adventures, many do so without a toilet. That said, there can be uncomfortable moments that an adventurer has to frantically search for one. So there's a cassette toilet for emergencies. We suggest that you use the great outdoors, bathhouses at campsites, and public restrooms. If you do end up needing the cassette toilet, you are required to empty it before returning the campervan. If you bring it back without having done that, you will be charged $125 for us to do that.

“We had a fantastic time in Andrew and Ken’s van! We rented it for a full month and did our first cross-country trip as a family with our 11 month old daughter and basset hound. It was the perfect vehicle for the trip and made everything smoother with the baby, it even fit her pack-n-play at night. Hope to rent it again for our next adventure!”

We went to the Fingerlakes with the campervan from Andrew and Ken and couldn’t be more positive about the van! We were with a group of 4 and Andrew put in 2 extra seats behind the drivers seat - which was super comfortable while driving! The bed was comfortable as well and the RV was super easy to park and drive. We made great memories with the van that we gave the fitting name: The White House:)
Andrew gave us even T-shirts as a souvenir! 11/10 - Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful experience with Andrew and Ken’s camper van. Andrew gave us a thorough walk through of the van and we found it to be well equipped and extremely organized for our trip. Andrew replied promptly to questions we had and the trip went off perfectly! The van had plenty of storage for our bikes and gear for a family of five. Van was easy to drive and easy to park! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time with the Adventure Rig. It was perfect for our family. The owners provided great instructions that were easy to follow for first-timers. The van made our trip to Promised Land State Park even more enjoyable. The kids absolutely loved it.

Absolutely everything about our experience with Outdoorsy, the owners, and this camper was unbelievably wonderful. When our originally booking was canceled last minute by the owner, Outdoorsy went above and beyond to secure us this replacement. Ken and Andrew were accommodating, communicative, and made everything extremely easy for us. The van ran beautifully, was perfectly clean, and was stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Can’t say enough good things…will definitely be back to rent again!
