This van is our quiet place. We built it for real life—road trips after work, dawn rides, rainy movie nights, and the kind of sleep you only get in a room that’s dark and still. The walls are fully insulated and there are no windows on purpose, so it stays calm, quiet, and climate-cozy. Scout curls up at our feet, Cora reads, and I make coffee without waking anyone. It feels like a little wood cabin that just happens to roll.We call it the studio because it works like one. Starlink (usable while driving) means meetings on mountain passes and playlists in the desert. When Boise cooks in July, the electric AC keeps the cabin cool; when the wind kicks up in Stanley, the solid door between the cab and living space turns everything peaceful. At night, we click the dimmable LEDs low, pull down the projector screen, fire up the projector, and let the roof fan whisper.Power just works—no generator, no shore power. A ~7 kWh battery bank fed by ~400 W of solar runs Starlink, the AC, lights, laptops, and the fridge/cooler. We’ve taken it on month-long trips and the lowest we’ve ever seen is ~40%—weather dependent, of course, but the system is set-and-forget. 120V outlets + USB are right where you want them, so you won’t be hunting for a plug or a signal. The layout is simple and honest: a comfy full-size bed with deep storage underneath, bedside fast-charge ports and cubbies, and warm wood everywhere. The kitchen has a two-burner stove and sink, a cutting board that doubles as counter space, and room for your favorite camp skillet. There’s a clean emergency toilet for those midnight moments (and, if you want it, an optional travel bottle we include on request). Overhead cabinets swallow clothes and pantry bins; the bench holds bulkier gear. We keep a bug screen on the slider and there’s space to strap a bike inside so it never rides in the dust.Driving is easy. Front-wheel drive, backup camera, and a wheelbase that parks like a normal van. Trailheads, tight city spots, a quick grocery run in McCall—no problem. Pick up in Garden City (near Boise/Eagle). I’ll give you a 10-minute walkthrough, share our dispersed-site pins, and send you off with a simple quick-start guide.Who loves this vanCouples who want stealthy, hotel-dark sleep and quiet mornings.Remote workers: true anywhere-internet + real outlets.Riders/photographers who want gear inside and secure.Anyone who wants cabin comfort without the bulk of a Class C.HighlightsWindow-free, fully insulated, quiet & privateStarlink in-motion, electric AC, roof fan~7 kWh battery, ~400 W solar, 120V + USB everywhereFull-size bed, projector + screen, dimmable LEDsTwo-burner stove + sink, mirror, ample storageEmergency toilet (with optional travel bottle)Cab/house door for comfort, privacy, and stealthSpace for a bike inside, bug screen at the sliderEasy Boise pickup, quick guide, and local tips includedBring your groceries and sense of adventure—we’ve taken care of the rest.
