This 2006 Sprinter I have converted myself to be a little cabin on wheels. Basic amenities perfect for a weekend getaway with everything you need and nothing that you don't. Has heat and a roof vent for Hvac. Swivel seats in the front for a larger feeling in the small space. Plenty of battery power to charge electronics as well as run lights, fan, and water pump for several days! There is a sink with running water and stove for preparing meals. The sink head can also be pulled outside and used for a shower. The bed is almost queen sized and has plenty of space for two to lay diagonally. Under the bed is lots of storage space with plenty of room for outdoor equipment including bikes!I built this van to live in and travel the country. This has been my home for the past four months and has everything needed to be a comfortable living space. I have tried to do as much of this work myself and purchased materials locally and sustainably for building this home-brew camper van. Most of the wood used for this build my father and I harvested and sawed into lumber, the battery bank used for power came from a local company in Ypsilanti that recycles used EV batteries, the folding bench seat came from another fellow building a camper out of a retired shuttle bus. The entire build was done with two users in mind, and it is quite comfortable for two, even on rainy days when trapped inside. This van is very easy to drive and gets an impressive 21mpg. I hope that it will take you on an impressive adventure! Please provide your own linens and bedding. We can include if you are unable.*Note: this van has a rebuilt title and is not eligible for Outdoorsy's insurance policy so you will need to carry your own insurance for renting this van. Your personal car insurance may cover it or you can go through a third party. What's includedCookware, utensils, spices and basic cooking condiments, lawn chairs and folding table, bluetooth speaker.RecommendationsGreat for a trip to Northern Lower Michigan or across the bridge to explore the Upper Peninsula! Also a great vehicle to take to Southern Ohio to Hocking Hills or further South into Kentucky's Red River Gorge and into the Smoky Mountains. Other things to note*Note: this van has a rebuilt title and is not eligible for Outdoorsy's insurance policy so you will need to carry your own insurance for renting this van. Hi, I am a 25 y/o Engineer who loves to adventure. My main hobbies include rock climbing, skiing, mountian biking and rally racing. I have always dreamed of owning a camper van and living in it while skiing out west. I have recently completed several months of skiing out west and I want to share my creation with other eager adventurers!
