Propane sales are available from Monday to Friday, and there?s a grocery store and laundromat only a mile away. Guests can also take advantage of more than 12 acres of catch and release trout fishing, so you can brag about the trophy that got away. A thirty minute drive will take you to several malls and outlet stores, along with Dahlongea, the ?gold town? where you can pan for gold and prospect for gems. Take a train deep into the scenic landscape of North Georgia, starting in the town of Blue Ridge. The total excursion is 26 miles (4 hours roundtrip), where the train follows Toccoa River. It is also wheelchair accessible. The trail is 61.5 miles long starting in Smyrna and ending at the state line with Alabama. The Silver Comet connects to the Chief Ladiga Trail at the state line. Both trails are fully paved and approximately 94.5 miles from Smyrna to Anniston, Alabama. The two trails are part of an effort by the PATH Foundation to build a network of off-road trails in and around Atlanta. This is a great place for the entire family or a group of friends to get some exercise on beautiful paths built for the residents and visitors in this area.
