The Great Outdoors

One of the town’s most well-known attractions is Silver Comet Trail, a 61-mile trail system that runs from Smyrna all the way to the Alabama state line. This trail literally runs through downtown Cedartown and can be explored on horseback, foot or bike. The trail is completely paved, meaning that it is wheelchair accessible, and ranges from challenging hills to flat and easy patches of path. Although there are certain parts of the trail that runs through other towns, you’ll also find yourself winding through farmland and shaded canopies of trees.

RV Parks

As with any RV vacation, you will need to find a spot to park for the night. There are plenty of RV parks in the immediate vicinity, the majority of which provide a range of amenities, making for a comfortable stay.

Exploring the City

Despite having exciting surroundings, you should give yourself some time to explore the town itself, which has a lot to offer. Cedartown is home to the second largest spring in the south, which has been aptly named the Big Spring. The spring produces an average of 4 million gallons of water a day and provides water to 10,000 people.

John is a great host, and the trailer is excellent for short trips like ours. John was very diligent when going over the trailer's functions and what they supply, as well as all the nitty-gritty details of such a unit and how it works. The supplies, ranging from bed sheets to towels, kitchen utensils, and two different types of coffee makers, as well as toiletries, showed that the owners know a thing or two about camping and had stocked the unit very thoughtfully. The supplies for outside of the camper, from the two chairs to the leveling blocks to the weight distribution hitch, were outstanding.
All in all, we had a perfect time in the camper; it was easy to pull with our Toyota Tundra, and things went very well for the few days on the road/campground.
