Conley is located ten miles south of Atlanta, just outside the I-285 loop, that encircles the capital. Conveniently located between interstate routes 675 and 75, Conley can be reached by anyone traveling from Macon or Augusta.

Originally settled by Creek Indians due to its fertile soil, Conley has remained a rural town relying primarily on agriculture as its main industry. Although relatively little is known about the town’s history, its name is thought to have originated from a family that settled here during the middle of the 19th century.
