The Great Outdoors

There are many reasons why you should book an RV in Fairburn, but close to the top of that list are the spectacular outdoor areas of the Peach State. This southern jewel is teeming with wilderness areas and outdoor recreation parks, making it an excellent place to take a road trip with a Fairburn RV rental. Sweetwater Creek State Park is a short drive north of Fairburn, and an ideal place to start your trip on the right foot. This fascinating park was once a native indigenous settlement occupied by the Cherokee before they were forcibly removed. The settlement was then built up as a town surrounding a textile mill which was, in turn, razed to the ground during the Civil War. Since 1972, Sweetwater Creek State Park has been a conservation area with rich biodiversity and ample space for recreation. There is a large swimming lake and also some campsites, a few hiking trails, and a visitor center where you can learn about the park’s nature and history.

RV Parks

You shouldn’t have much to worry about when it comes to finding a campground to visit with your Fairburn camper rental, as there seems to be no shortage of them in the state. Chattahoochee Bend State Park, for instance, is not only a fun place to visit, but it could be a great place to spend the night. There are cabins, tent sites, and RV spaces with restrooms and showers. The best part of staying at this state park is the 3,000 acres of land you can hike and explore.

Exploring the City

Fairburn is a unique place to visit because it has an eclectic offering of attractions in and around it. There are lots of breweries in town, as well as mouthwatering restaurants with southern BBQ and other comfort foods. The Hindu Temple of Atlanta is only a few miles away, with jaw-dropping beauty and architectural style. This elegant white temple is a holy building often hosting important festivals and fun celebrations, and you don’t have to be religious to enjoy this incredible space.
