TrailerRental #233645

Comfortable, cozy and roomy for two people! This lovely camper is in like new condition . Notice!! Our last renters dog destroyed two of the blinds and made a small tear in one of the screens, so two blinds are missing until we get them replaced)
Our first trip with the Hideaway was in an unexpected snowstorm! It was easy to park it even in the dark, and we cranked up the heat and had hot dogs and put movies on the attached DVD player, and snuggled with our two little dogs. Heaven!
The camper comes with color coordinated dishes, cooking utensils ( no skillet or saucepans, one large pot only) tableware, potholders, towels, both kitchen and bath, bedding and pillows.
Bring your personal gear, food drinks etc. Graduated sewer hose supports makes dumping a breeze.. The awning is easy to extend and we can even supply you with lights to string across it if you like . A large mat for the ground helps keep dirt out and allows you to be barefoot in the wild outside the camper!
The single axle bumper hitch camper works easily for a wide variety of campsites and is easy to haul.
Retirees? Newlyweds? Solo and want to get away? This is the perfect Highland Hideaway for your ”Glamping” adventure!

Owner did not respond when asked if we needed to bring bedding and cooking supplies. We were not given everything shown in pictures and had to borrow things to cook with, like skillets, and even glasses. Bathroom faucet unusable. No working batteries in remotes. Worse was my service dog (who accompanies me everywhere) was injured by the their blinds, which fell and had a cord, cutting into his neck.

Briar F’s answer

This renter is not being truthful. I did respond and let her know that I did provide bedding , towels, cookware, plates, glasses, flatware, cooking utensils, dish towels potholders etc. A new coffee maker , cleaning supplies , tinfoil and cling wrap and many other amenities . I let her know that one pot was provided but that she would have to bring a skillet or other saucepans. She was ok with that. The faucets in the bathroom are fine.
After telling me that her “service dog” had “oodles of training” , she left him alone in the camper where he proceeded to rip not one but two blinds off the windows and ripped one screen in his frenzy to get out. One of the windows affected was over the dining table so he was obviously all over the eating surface and chewed one corner of the cushions. She left me a letter saying how much she had enjoyed my “lovely camper “ (her words) but that her dog had ripped my blinds up; something he had done before in their own home. She apologized, and took the blinds, saying she would try and replace them if she could find out where. She asked that I be lenient on the deposit. I follow Outdoorsy guidelines, and requested that they retain the deposit , because I now have to postpone the availability of my camper until I can find replacement blinds and screen.
They also left the toilet tub, and kitchen sink dirty, the stove had to be scrubbed from boiled over food, and dog food on the floor. I have before and after pictures of this debacle and have a photo of the letter that she left admitting what her dog had done and apologizing. Unfortunately , this makes me want to review my pet friendly status.
