Class BRental #152308

Very nice ERA Sprinter that sleeps two in the back in the V berth, or add section to make a queen size bed. One small bed up front good for up to 6'. Turbo Diesel engine gets great mpg, drives great on the free way cruising at 65-70 mph. Inside shower toilet + outside water spray. Fridge, stove top, and microwave. A/C, heat, all run on generator or propane so no hook up required. Inside sound system and two TVs. 6'2-6'3 can stand inside. Basic supplies included, pots, cups, toaster, two chairs. Bike rack available. The RV is sanitized after each use, and no back to back bookings, allowing time to clean and become non hazardous after use. Drives just like a large car, smooth and quite.

  • Seats: 4 seatbelts
  • Fuel: Diesel
  • Transmission: Automatic

This van was a disappointment. Noisy and quirky. The owner provided only minimal instructions on how to operate the various appliances. The generator was leaking propane and we did not use it, the fridge drains the battery quickly so we had to always worry about our food, the bathroom is extremely small and uncomfortable.

Graham’s answer

I'm sorry this renter was not happy. I was not aware of the propane problem until it was returned. But I do give everyone a walk through and a type out help list on how things work. Much is also available on line to help with any issues. The RV is not that rough to drive in, though the suspension is stiff in the rear to deal with the weight. Not everyone is a RV lover, clearly this renter was not, most people enjoy it, but not everyone will. Additionally this was the only renter that managed to do major damage to the RV by reversing it into something requiring an insurance claim. Clearly this person would be happier in a Hotel.

ThIs RV is very comfortable, fuel efficient, and easy to drive. It’s a little longer than we were originally looking for, and the additional space is nice. It’s just long enough that you may need to park in two spaces or an RV space (in town), which we were able to find without any problems. Graham provided a detailed walk-through for us (first time RV users), and a great written description of all the important stuff. Overall had a great trip to the mountains.
