2022 Vandemic National Park XL Retro

Vandemic is proud to announce our first Sprinter Retro Build is available for rental. This limited-edition homage to the classic VW bus of the 1960s and 1970s. Built on a 2022 Mercedes Sprinter 170, this build is simply stunning, from the classic two-tone exterior including custom hand painted hubcaps to the exterior upgrades that were custom powder coated in chrome. The exterior features Vannon running boards, a Fiamma awning, custom Vandemic Cruiser roof rack with integrated lighting and custom chrome powder coated factory rims. Once you enter the van you will be blown away by the details. The interior was modeled after classic mid-century design including commercially rated cabinet boxes that are durable and easy to clean. Furniture grade walnut doors are grain matched and seamless. The cabinets feature retro theme hardware with soft close hinges and RV latches. All drawers feature high quality locking RV slides as well as RV latches to keep your drawers closed when you’re driving down the road on your next adventure. The retro details continue to the custom vinyl flooring, backsplash, venting, and dinette tabletop.

The convertible dinette features our new quick convert hardware that allows you to go from dinette to bed in less than a minute. The oversized sleeping area is 66”x80” (larger than a queen!) and is custom upholstered with highly durable Krypton fabric. The cushions are constructed from a 6” memory foam mattress. The floor, wall and ceilings are insulated with all-natural Havelock wool insulation.

The van can be used in four season thanks to the diesel Espar heater and 12V. Fresair air conditioner and Maxxair fan. The van also has several vented windows including the dinette windows and large vended sliding door vent.

The van features an indoor and outdoor shower with hot water. There is a total of 29 gallons of fresh water and 17 gallons of grey water. The wet bath also includes a Thedford Porta Potti cassette toilet with real working flush.
