Hi! We're Jeni and Darrin, owners of Groosen Adventure Rentals. We purchased our Winnebago Solis 59PX in 2021 to travel to dog shows, visit family, and explore places that are difficult to experience from a hotel room. Unlike our previous RVs, we purchased the Solis specifically with rental guests in mind. The Solis is actually the third RV we've offered as a rental. While living in Cincinnati, we owned and rented out a 2011 Tioga diesel motorhome and a campervan before adding the Solis to our fleet. When we relocated to Michigan, we sold the other two and kept the Solis because it was our favorite to drive, travel in, and share with guests. The Solis comfortably seats and sleeps four, featuring a rear queen bed and a queen sized rooftop pop top. It's perfect for couples, families, or a small group of friends. To make your trip easy, we provide fresh linens, pillows, cookware, kitchen utensils, and disposable plates, cups, and silverware. Just pack your clothes and groceries and hit the road. Each rental also includes 100 miles per booked night, with additional mileage billed at $0.55 per mile. One of our favorite features is the ability to boondock almost anywhere. With onboard solar, batteries, fresh water, and a built in generator, you don't need campground hookups to enjoy your adventure. Many guests use the Solis for Lake Superior Circle Tours, trips into Canada, visits to Pictured Rocks, dog shows, and weekend getaways.Whether you're planning a cross country road trip or a quick weekend escape, the Solis is ready for adventure. What's includedWhat Makes the Solis SpecialThe Winnebago Solis 59PX is built on the Ram ProMaster 2500 chassis, making it easy to drive for both first time and experienced RV travelers. At just 21 feet long, it handles much like a large SUV and fits in most standard parking spaces. Features include navigation, cruise control, a backup camera, and a touchscreen infotainment system.Whether you're staying at a campground or exploring off the grid, the Solis is ready for adventure. We've used it for dog shows, family visits, Lake Superior adventures, mountain biking trips, and countless weekends discovering new places. One of our favorite things about the Solis is its versatility. It's equally at home at a campground, a dog show, a waterfront parking spot, or a remote boondocking site. Its compact size makes it easy to drive and park, while its solar power, batteries, and onboard generator allow you to travel comfortably without relying on hookups. If you're looking for trip ideas, many of our guests enjoy Lake Superior Circle Tours, exploring Ontario, visiting Pictured Rocks, chasing waterfalls throughout the Upper Peninsula, attending sporting events, or simply taking the scenic route and seeing where the road leads. For guests who enjoy cycling, we also offer the use of our bike rack so you can bring your mountain bikes along and explore the incredible trail systems found throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Ontario, and beyond. After owning and renting RVs for more than 20 years, the Solis remains one of our favorites. It's easy to drive, incredibly versatile, and perfect for creating lasting memories.Other things to noteAs RV renters ourselves, we've never liked surprise fees. That's why we don't charge extra for cleaning, prep, pets, or kids. We believe in simple, transparent pricing. Dogs are welcome, and there are no additional pet fees or pet deposits, just the standard security deposit required for every rental.
