NO OFF-ROADING. Unless it is an official campground, if it’s not paved, don’t drive on it. Thank you for caring for the vehicle.
For Kauai this includes no access to Polihale on the West Side of Kauai, Mahalepu in the South, and any other non-paved surface, espcially side roads in Koke'e/Waimea State Park.
A camping permit is required for each night of your stay. There is no free camping in Hawaii The only exception to this is if you have permission to camp on private land.
