Overview

This vintage queen of the Winnebago fleet with only 110K miles has plenty of enjoyable road trips & camping experience left to give. Great get-away for a weekend or a month to go camping, fishing, hunting, skiing, to the beach or visit relatives. Capable of being completely self-contained with a generator, 30 gal propane, onboard freshwater, and waste holding tank. Also a good choice for larger groups & special events - seats up to 15 and sleeps 8. Aft can be configured as a double bed or horseshoe seating for groups. A good choice for new RV'rs wanting to try the adventure at a reasonable price. Kids especially enjoy the two smart TV's with a digital antenna. With renter cell phone access point (or RV Park Wifi) Netflix & Amazon and other services are available. 28' 1990 Winnebago Warrior big block Ford E350. Renovated in 2015 - new paint, interior gutted, solid wood cabinets and new refrigerator installed. Interior re-designed with horseshoe seating aft. Running lights converted to LED. In 2018 replaced transmission & drive shaft, overhead "house" A/C, New 4700 watt electric start generator, replaced cab A/C compressor & blower fan, engine starter motor & solenoid, new plugs & wires, and compression check was positive. In 2019 we overhauled "house" propane heater and fridge propane systems. New front brakes, rotors. and inner & outer bearings in July 2019. New front shocks Aug 2019. Complete refresh of ignition system - rotor, points, plugs, wires. Fuel injection system tuned in Sept 2019 Following interior quality concerns, Fall 2019 necessitated a complete inside/outside refresh - painting, cleaning and pest control. Dining & back tables were redesigned and an external Genius 2 battery maintainer installed. The photos are recent but are kind to her few nicks & scratches and the paint is starting to blemish. Still she's in great shape for her age - clean, solid mechanically and. everything works. everything but that dang cruise control - still trying to find a 1990 cruise control amplifier to get cruise control back working.

She drove like a champ. We took her to Colorado and back. The heater was excellent. We had 10 people in the RV and we were very comfortable. She is older vehicle but she is good.

This RV rental was exactly what we needed for our travel. We wanted to drive in comfort for my family and my elderly mother and it worked out perfectly. It was a great value and Mr. George was VERY NICE and helpful for us first-timers.

We rented this RV to sleep in during an overnight event, but it was so nasty and full of bugs and stains on every cushion ...we ended up sleeping in our cars that night. The owner was nice . The pictures on the website were either taken very many years ago or just staged...needless to say that...

Nyra - I'm so sorry you were disappointed - I try, I really do. I realize now that you were looking more for a "motel" to spend the night - complete with freshly laundered sheets and appointments and not an RV camping experience for you to the manage accommodations. Truly I regret agreeing to your booking - if you had let me know, I would have gladly compensated you. I gave you opportunity at checkout to let me cancel your booking for a full refund. (And honestly, as you remember when you were loading the big ice chests with drinks and beer - I wanted to cancel) I couldn't see how you five women were going to be comfortable in there with the isles blocked. The RV had just returned from camping in Colorado - I guess some crawly creatures hitched a ride. I didn't see any but sprayed the night before as I routinely do. Pictures are always kinder - and all but the first are all less than two years old - but she's been a few miles since with lots of families with little chippers. Our RV is for the for those on a budget and I just don't have the heart to stick them with unexpected cleaning costs - she is 30 years old after all. We're getting all the cushions steam cleaned again this week. Kids will be kids and it wasn't as bad as you let on - but those cushions will all be clean & fresh for the next grand excursion! You must admit that the RV was very dirty when you returned it (especially on the outside). Evidently your event was off-road and the dirt was pretty thick. I did notice some dings where the big ice chests were jerked around and out the side door - and the screen door latch was loose Olayinka, the other approved driver told me you filled the generator tank - it was less than half. No matter I didn't charge your deposit. Olayinka also told me she lived in the subdivision across from us - I sure wish she had coma taken a look before this mess. And I guess, I don't think your review is anyway fair to the other ten reviewers who rated her four & five stars. Go read them. These are the happy campers who returned with smiles on the faces and lifetime memories of the family together. No not fair to them at all - nor to future campers who want to spend not just one night but days and even weeks - just don't have quite the means to afford the big expensive "rolling Hiltons" - So sorry.
