When you book an RV in Albany, you will find plenty of recreational activities to keep you busy. Daniel Boone National Forest is located nearby. It features plenty of areas to enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, and picnic sites as well as scenic drives. Local wildlife are often spotted here, and this is a prime area for viewing fall colors. Dale Hollow Lake and Cumberland River are both located not far away. The lake was formed by a manmade dam on the Obey River and even features an island where primitive camping is allowed. Both offer numerous opportunities for fishing, water, and paddle sports. Camping opportunities and hiking trails are also available as there is a state park near the lake as well.
