2011 Forest River Sunseeker
Our 28 foot Thor motor home has a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa and dinette, and plenty of space and comfort! It is a 2013, but has been completely renovated inside and has a brand new paint job on the outside, so it's like new! It has an outdoor awning that is approximately 15 feet long, so you can sit out if it is raining or to get out of the sun. There is a separate queen sized bed in the back that is private, with 2 hanging closets, storage cabinets and drawers, as well as a full shower and separate bathroom with toilet and sink, medicine cabinet, and lots of storage. Our RV sleeps 6 and has plenty of room to move about. There is a 36" flat screen TV and DVD player included. There is a 3 burner gas stove with pots and pans which are included. It has a spacious refrigerator and freezer, with plenty of room for food storage. There's tons of storage inside, as well as a huge storage area underneath with an outside table and the needed RV supplies for water and sewer hookup. Black and grey water tank have heaters, so there's nothing to worry about if you are camping in cold weather. The heating and air conditioning work great, as does everything else! There are two separate carbon monoxide detectors. For additional add-on's (at an additional cost), we can include towels and washcloths for the bathroom, sheets and blankets/comforters for two beds, a gas grill, water storage containers, beach chairs and camping chairs, and a portable ice maker, and an outdoor rug that runs most of the length of the RV. Included are silverware and dishes for 4, measuring cups and spoons and various cooking items, cooking utensils etc. We absolutely love our RV, and others love renting it! Please be advised that we have a maximum mileage of 1000 miles round trip at the current time.
No smoking in RV please. The day of drop off, RV must be returned by 10 am, or an additional day will be charged.
Coleman gas grill. Price is for trip, not per day.

About the host, Susan and Dave
Fabulous trip. RV worked great - everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Total fun!
This was a spur-of-the-moment decision to make a Thanksgiving trip with 5 adults, 2 cocker spaniels, luggage for a week, and food. We decided an RV would provide plenty of room for the 12-hour trip and would allow us to fix food, avoiding the problem of stopping to eat in a restaurant. Susan and Dave had the available motor home and were quite accommodating in working out the rental. Pick up and return was quite easy and Dave was very thorough in explaining how everything worked. Although we only used it to travel from Virginia to Baton Rouge and back, the motor home was fully equipped and would be just fine for a week or so of travel and camping. Throw in luggage, load in food, and hit the road.
We had a wonderful family adventure in the RV!

Love every bit of it and would love to own one.
First time RV rental for our family. Due to COVID-19 there were a lot of restrictions for us to travel from NC to VT for a memorial service. Trip was about 1,700 miles round trip for 5 nights. The good points were that our two daughters (13 & 9) had a lot of flexibility to relax and ride the 845 mile one way trip up and the back. They were very excited about the trip being a first time adventure in a way. For that it was a great experience. Better than being seatbelted in car seats for hours on end. For that it was a plus.
Great 8-day rental along the Blue Ridge Parkway, very thorough instructions at handoff about how to handle everything, and great communication beforehand. Excellent experience for a good price!
