June 2026

We recently returned from our 12th trip to the Parker, Arizona area and wanted to share our experience with this RV. Since our trip was in June, it's worth keeping the extreme summer temperatures in mind when considering this review. The positives first: communication leading up to the rental was excellent, and delivery and setup were seamless. Craig was friendly, professional, and very helpful whenever he came by. One thing we didn't fully appreciate from the listing was the cooling setup. There are two air conditioning units, one in each bedroom, but there isn't a dedicated unit serving the main living area. Instead, large floor fans are used to move cool air from the bedrooms into the center of the RV. The fans are quite loud, making it difficult to carry on conversations or watch television comfortably. To keep the living area reasonably comfortable during the day, we ran both bedroom AC units continuously, which left the bedrooms extremely cold overnight. The RV also showed noticeable signs of wear, including peeling laminate on several doors, peeling upholstery on the back of the couch, and entry doors that were difficult to open and close. None of these individually ruined the trip, but together they gave the RV a more worn feel than we expected. We also encountered some confusion regarding linens. The listing indicated they were provided, but a follow-up email informed us they were not. Since we don't own queen-size bedding, we ended up making an unexpected trip to Walmart to purchase sheets before our stay. The biggest issue for us was the refrigerator. Having rented several RVs before, we understand they can take time to cool down, and we expected that. We followed the owner's guidance and allowed ample time for it to cool. However, throughout our stay, the refrigerator never dropped below 50°F. At that temperature, we were not comfortable storing perishable food. We contacted the owner, who explained that RV refrigerators can require up to 24 hours to cool and that placing items directly from an ice-filled cooler into the refrigerator can make cooling more difficult because of condensation. By the following day, the temperature still had not improved. The owner offered either to bring us additional ice for our cooler or exchange the RV later that afternoon. We appreciated those options, but chose not to switch units because we were concerned about starting the cooling process over again. Instead, we discarded the perishable food we had already purchased, returned to Walmart to replace it, and stored those items in coolers for the remainder of the trip, which took up valuable space inside the RV. We also weren't able to get the outdoor kitchen working initially. After contacting the owner, Craig returned and discovered that a propane hose and valve needed to be connected. Once that was resolved, the outdoor kitchen functioned properly, and they also dropped off a flat-top grill as a backup, which we appreciated. Overall, the size of the RV and the convenience of having it delivered to our campsite worked well for our family. However, between the cooling limitations, the refrigerator issues, the condition of the RV, and several unexpected inconveniences, this rental did not meet our expectations. Perhaps most disappointing was the overall response to the concerns we raised during our stay. We weren't expecting perfection—RVs are complex, and occasional issues are understandable. What we hoped for was a greater sense of empathy and acknowledgment of the inconvenience these problems created during our vacation. Instead, several of our concerns were met more with explanations of why they were normal aspects of RV ownership than with recognition of their impact on our trip. That ultimately left us feeling that our experience as renters was secondary to defending the RV itself. We appreciate Craig's efforts and the owner's willingness to offer solutions after the fact. However, based on our overall experience, we would not rent this particular RV again. We hope this review helps future renters know what to expect so they can decide whether this RV is the right fit for their vacation.

Everything was exactly as described, was ready for us when we got there with no issues. Super flexible with set up time and didn’t rush us to pick up.

Hello, we enjoy taking our trailer to the river or the beach mostly. Pirates Cove in Needles, CA is our absolute favorite. Your campsite comes with a sandy beach! Or we enjoy parking down at Huntington Beach and watching the air show, taking our dog to the dog park plus riding our bikes on the boardwalk!
