2019 Forest River Sunseeker

We're what the industry calls "Covid Campers." This is our first RV rental since Germany in 1989. Ryan made it a good experience. It's big equipment, drives like a truck, and our relative lack of experience substantially escalates risk. For that and other reasons, we are grateful to Ryan and Heidi for loaning us such new, complex equipment and don't take it lightly, no matter that they have a financial interest in doing so. Upon return, they were genuinely interested in how we enjoyed our trip.

Pickup and return were flexible.

We recommend these owners and that vehicle to anyone.

We highly recommend going through the 60+ page on-line Forest River owner's manual. We did that twice and found it quite educational as there is only so much time to be allocated to one-on-one training. For example, who would have though that best practice is not to evacuate a black water tank until 2/3rds full, and once evacuated, it should be primed?

Although not long, the demo and check-out process was the closest and longest I've been with anyone else for months. For the consideration of the entire RV owner Outdoorsy community: it occurs to us that Covid Campers such as ourselves may appreciate creative distancing opportunities during check-out and return. We're renting your RV rather than heading to the airport for a reason. Be sensitive to the fact that our distancing desires may exceed what you may personally feel is reasonable--a couple of people masked up for a while in a confined environment. How about a prep video of your RV to be watched prior to pickup, and then a live video call walk-through with us on the other end of the video call on site? Yes, I'd prefer to sign paperwork on pickup and return outdoors by passing a clipboard or using a portable table than do so inside at the RV's table.

We had a wonderful experience renting from Ryan! The RV is the perfect size/easy to drive for a first time RV drivers. He was very easy to deal with and answered any questions we had promptly. He was very flexible with pick up/drop off times as well. He was also very gracious when my son broke the vanity mirror during the trip. I would highly recommend renting from Ryan!

Ryan was nothing but kind, flexible, and helpful. He was easy to reach from the beginning when booking, and when we had really minor issues with the vehicle throughout our rental period. He patient with us after we caused some damage. We highly recommend renting from Ryan!
