September 20201

We rented Danny’s motorhome for a 3-night trip. There were multiple issues with his RV. To start the home address he gave us to pick up the RV from didn’t seem to be his house. He met us on a neighboring block with the RV. He gave us a very brief instruction of how things worked in the RV, not enough info for first time renters (see below for info that was lacking). We started the pick-up to find out the canopy of the RV was broken from a previous rental. We were in the middle of a heat wave and we were absolutely going to need shade. Danny offered a pop up in lieu of the broken canopy but we had to drive what he said was 5 minutes to get the canopy. 12 minutes later we were at another house and driving down a narrow cul-de-sac street. We are not experienced RV drivers, he knew this and took us down a cul-de-sac. If he had known his canopy was broken you would think that he would have an alternate option already in the RV, we should never have had to drive to another location to pick up something that was advertised with his rental. This tight cul-de-sac resulted in us hitting a parked car. That incident was totally avoidable had the owner been prepared.

Danny was very responsive and easy to work with. Unfortunately he had recently acquired the vehicle and it needed some upgrades and had some problems that I discovered while on the road. The most serious was having the front tire blow out while in the middle of nowhere in Central CA. Also the battery died three different times. The curtains were all broken and wouldn’t open and upholstery was all ripped. However the queen mattress was a dream and all other mechanical features worked fine. Once Danny changes the tires, upgrades the interior and gets a new battery, I would recommend this vehicle.

Nancy & Danny’s answer

The RV has new tires sll around.
The RV has new blinds.
It has brand new batteries in the front and the back. New tvs and back up camera.
