This is one of the nicest trucks going. Any Toyota fan will vouch for that. It's clean, well maintained and in tip top shape. I equipped my 4Runner with a 3 person Tuff Stuff Roof Top Tent. Necessities for camping include: All bedding, blankets and or sleeping bags, butane stove, coffee pot, cooler, kitchen and dining essentials. Also, a folding table, 2 camping chairs, and led lights. Check out all the pics, the things you see are what I have to offer. Plus, ask me about the places to camp, snorkel trips, and private land camping.

Rent this truck if you want to camp in Maui. It is super comfortable, has all you need, including a butane stove, and is better than a ground tent because Maui can be so windy. The car tent was sturdy, never crumpled with gusts of wind compared to our fellow campers whose ground tents kept blowing over. The integrated sleeping pad kept it leveled, comfortable with no lumps or bumps. The 4x4 feature was handy on the occasional unpaved road on the road to Hana. And, if you do rent this truck, make sure to check out Richard's travel guide book: Maui Revealed. It was very helpful when we lost data and wifi in the more rural parts of Maui. The best part was meeting Richard. He is so kind and has a genuine Aloha spirit. Mahalo, Richard!

Richard was the best host we could have asked for. He thought of everything you might need for your camping adventure and packed it in the 4Runner. He was communicative via text before the trip helping us figure out details during COVID and was helpful when we had questions throughout our trip on the island. Richard also helped us to secure a camping location one night when our initial plans had to be cancelled. Thank you for a great experience Richard.

Richard is simply the best renter we have met in the last 20+ years of traveling the world. Customer oriented, reliable and very experienced. He is simply a great guy whom we can recommend with a clear conscience to anyone who wants to explore Maui in a Rooftop Camper (Toyota 4Runner). There is no better option to experience the unique landscape on the road to Hana or to experience the Haleakala volcano in all its facets. Just book Richard and enjoy Maui!
